Tied 3-3 with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 15th inning of NLCS Game 5, Robin Ventura hit a Kevin McGlinchy pitch over the right-center field wall. Teammates mobbed him before he reached second base, so he was credited with a single, only one run counted, and the final was 4-3 instead of 7-3.

Munson He hit a grand slam and it counted as a single. The over died of joy.
